The Aesthetic Eye YUVA team is led by Mr. Sreedhar Jyothi

MD, FRCOphth, MRCOphth, DOphth, MBBS

Consultant Ophthalmologist, Cosmetic eye lid and lacrimal surgeon, advanced aesthetic practitioner


Mr Sreedhar Jyothi is a Consultant Ophthalmologist and a specialist in Oculoplastic, Orbital, Lacrimal and Aesthetic facial surgery at St James University Hospital NHS, Leeds and Hull University teaching Hospitals NHS, Hull and Spire Leeds Hospital private health care. He has performed over a thousand Oculoplastic procedures as a Consultant Cosmetic eye lid and mid face surgeon. His surgical outcomes of Oculoplastic surgery exceed the published standards with very minimal complication rate and a very high patient satisfaction. He specialises in cosmetic surgery of the eyes, eyelids and periocular complex including eye brows and upper cheeks. He also specialises in lacrimal surgery including treatment of blepharitis and watery eyes (DCR procedures). He also manages peri-ocular cancers and reconstruction of adnexa.


Mr Jyothi was trained in India and UK, before finishing his research fellowship as Doctor of Medicine (MD) at prestigious Cranfield University, UK, researching into new modalities of treating eye conditions. He gained advanced sub specialty training in Oculoplastic, Orbital and Lacrimal surgery at St James University Teaching Hospital in Leeds. He is a senior lecturer at Leeds University. He has extensive research experience in the field of Ophthalmology and has more than 100 national and international presentations and published widely in peer reviewed journals. Currently he leads Oculoplastic services at Leeds teaching hospitals NHS trust. He is also managing director of “Aesthetic eye YUVA” offering facial aesthetic services.
